Loader Universe

One link for a group of games. Players paste it once and Luaward runs the script made for the game they are in.

What it is

A Loader Universe is one link that serves a whole group of games. Instead of keeping a hub script that lists every PlaceId and uploading it again whenever you add a game, you pick the game when you make each script. The link finds the right script for the game the player is in, so it never changes and never needs a new upload.

https://luaward.com/u/YOUR_LINK.lua

You can make as many Loader Universes as you like, for example one per studio or one per series of games.

Make one

  1. Open Loader Universe in the dashboard and choose New Loader Universe.
  2. Give it a name. A private link is made for you: a long random address (like luaward.com/u/d1417f68…) that nobody can guess. It never changes, so players keep using it.
  3. Tick the projects it should draw scripts from. Scripts that name their games join at once.
  4. Leave Add new scripts by themselves on for projects whose new scripts should join without any action from you.

Each Loader Universe is a section on the page, like a project on the Projects page. Each game is one row, with the scripts that answer for it, a switch to pause that game, and its runs in the last 30 days.

What players paste

script_key = "KEY";
loadstring(game:HttpGet("https://luaward.com/u/YOUR_LINK.lua"))()

The Loader button on a section copies exactly these two lines. The key line is only needed for keyed scripts.

The page your players see

Open the link without .lua in a browser (https://luaward.com/u/YOUR_LINK) and players get a page made for them, not code:

  • Get the script: the two lines to paste, one big copy button and three steps. On a phone it is one tap.
  • My key: a player pastes their key and sees where it stands: time left, whether a device is linked, how many resets, how many runs, the last game. They can copy the script with their key already in it, and reset their device themselves (if your project allows it and the waiting days between resets have passed). No account is needed: the key is the way in, and Cloudflare Turnstile plus a limit on wrong keys guard it.
  • Games: every game the Loader Universe supports, with its picture, version and a button that opens it on Roblox. A player who does not see their game can request it with a roblox.com link or place id; the requests are counted next to the games players ran without support, so you see what to build next.
  • Help: short answers for a locked device, phones and errors.

The page speaks the player's language (the same six as the dashboard), works on a phone first, and is not shown to search engines. Open it from the dashboard with the button next to Loader on a Loader Universe. An executor that asks for the page by mistake is sent to the .lua loader.

Choose the game of a script

When you add a script, the first step asks which game it is made for: one game, several games, or all games. Type a name, paste a roblox.com link, or enter a Place ID. Luaward asks Roblox's public pages for the game, its icon and its places, and keeps the game by its universe, so every place of the game counts, including ones added later. A script can name up to 30 games.

The Only let it run in this game switch locks the script. A run from any other game, even through the script's own loader link, is refused with GAME_NOT_SUPPORTED before anything is sent.

A script that names no game ("all games") is never answered by a Loader Universe.

Scripts join by themselves

  • Tick one or more Loader Universes in the second step of New script.
  • Or turn on Add new scripts by themselves for a project inside the Loader Universe's settings.

A Loader Universe shows scripts waiting for a game at the bottom of its section, so none is forgotten.

How the script is chosen

The link asks Luaward which scripts are made for the player's game. If there is one, it runs. If there are several, for example a Premium and a Freemium project that both have the game:

  1. The key the player holds says which project they belong to: the script of that project is chosen first, then a script whose project also takes that project's keys (the setting your projects already use to share keys).
  2. With no key, or a key that exists nowhere in these projects, a script that runs without a key is chosen, otherwise the first one in the order the page shows.

The chosen script's own loader then checks the key, device and plan as usual, so the link cannot let anyone past them.

A game nothing supports

In the Loader Universe's settings choose what a player gets in a game none of its scripts are made for: a message (yours, or ours when you write nothing) shown in the executor's console and as an in-game notification, or a kick. The page counts these runs and lists the games players asked for, so you know what to build next.

Pause

A paused Loader Universe tells players it is paused. Pausing one game stops answering for that game only. Turning a script off, or taking it out of the Loader Universe, stops it from being chosen within a few seconds.
